One reel, 3.6 million views: what we learned in Little India

Venu Dindigul Biriyani is a much-loved restaurant in Little India, Singapore. It already had a name. What it wanted was a bigger online following and more people walking through the door.
Snackable beats polished
We built the content plan around short, snackable reels: mouth-watering close-ups of biryani and dosas, tag-a-friend prompts, trending themes and local humour in meme formats. Food that looks this good does not need much explaining.
Captions and hashtags still matter
Every reel went out with sharp captions and a hashtag strategy, so the right people found it and had a reason to share it.
The result
One reel reached 3.6 million views and another 1.2 million. More clips crossed 75,000, 72,000, 51,000 and 42,000 views. Thousands of shares and comments followed, along with more foot traffic.
What you can borrow
- Lead with the food in the first second.
- Give people a reason to tag someone.
- Use the humour your customers already use.
- Post often enough to learn what works, then make more of it.
